The fact that we already planned out the setting of the film (a group members house) and the main character (my brother) made it easier to organise a date to film and therefore made filming more simple and fun.
At first when we began to film we decided to start outside, it was raining on the filming day, and therefore this gave a better effect to our film for example it made it more intense due to the sound of the rain and the darker effect outside. Some of the shots were hard to create e.g. when using the hand held camera it was hard to make it look like somebody was walking up to the house and watching it. However I feel like we filmed the outside scenes well. The filming of the opening was interesting to do, some scenes we found it hard to film due to continuity, but when we edit this it will be better quality and make sense. We found that the acting was simple and not to complicated. The fact that it is only the boy in the entire film opening gives a sense of anxiety because the boy is the only character that is seen and it is made clear that somebody is watching him. When filming the rest of the film, it got easier as we went along, this is because we where getting used to handling the cameras and the equipment. We managed to complete all the filming in one day, this gave us an advantage due to the fact we have more time to edit and perfect our thriller opening.
Overall I feel like the filming ran smoothly and went well, I enjoyed filming with my group and I am happy with my camera shots.
