Preliminary Task; Introduction

The first task we were given was the preliminary task. Within our filming we had to include three main features;

• 180 degree rule 
• Shot reverse shot 
• Match on action 

We had to include these three things so that the short film looked professional and effective. It has given us different ideas of what to include in our actual film opening/ coursework. When making our short film I learnt about the different aspects of media these were elements such as camera work, editing, sound, mise en scene and transitions, now that I know about these elements I will find it easier to do my film opening.
